I am from Lithuania, and almost 50 procent of electric tools ( electric
saws, all the battery tools from Makita and nails to my Makita nail gun
( looks like paslode) .. - I am buying from these guys. I have small company
in Lithuania - and since I am paying VAT ( MOMS) in there, so these guys
send me my stuff ex VAT, which is perfect!... Ok the delivery prices starting
from 60punds, but we are working on this issue, and hopefully we will
find some cheaper way to send my tools to Lithuania. And they really send
all the stuff I am ordering.. Ok - it takes some emails to write there
and back - but I dont need my tools next day after i order them - I can
wait week or two. But difference of the prices there in Lithuania and
the one I am sending over from tool net - really put a smile on my face.
And i got one battery from makita dead after 1 week... so i send over
to them - and they put a new battery to my next order!. so its perfect.

of all my orders already more then 10,000 euros or so.. and it was delivered
on time ( almost..- but i am not from uk - I am from lithania, so its
always some more time to deliver naturally).. anyway - since i have small
company in Lithuania - they send me all the goods ex VAT.. its pritty
good, i would say.. also - they getting me all electrical tools - 240
volts... and the prices are much much cheaper then in Lithuania.. event
the sending cost is between the 60 pounds (and more some times if i am
sending lots of nails for my gas pistol).. but its still half price :)..

WS3 cheaper at Tool.Net than any other site, but on delivery there was

of problem....... Talk about dealing with the problem. The workshop was

to whether to buy this Youngman Pro-Deck Aluminium Ladder & Deck System
or a set of multi purpose ladders (such as from BPS). As my main use will
be for decorating the stairs and other such jobs I decided on the Youngman.
Why? Well the Youngman ladder has more flexibility in that the platform
can be placed at various heights (each rung) whereas the multi-purpose
ladders are fixed at various positions and should the required height
be incorrect then you can't use them. I also like the quality of Youngman
products. The purchase through Tool Net (www.tool-net.co.uk) was a no
brainer - their prices are way better than everyone else and the cost
of delivery was very reasonable at £5.99 plus VAT. No-one came close.

- not the fault of Tool-Net as the item was dispatched direct from
the manufacturer. The courier initially attempted to deny their
liability but Tool-Net sorted the problem out with the courier directly.
This was not simple. The courier had left the item unsigned for
and apparently attempted to make up stories about why they had done
this. A replacement item arrived in reasonable time given the complex

"I live in New York City and have a country home in rural Spain.
Tools are very expensive in Spain, but because of the different
electric currents, I can't bring US tools to Spain and have them
work as they should. I found the sander I wanted at tool-net, and
even with the shipping costs it was cheaper to buy it in England
than what I would have spent for it in Spain. The tool-net staff
was attentive and answered all of my emails promptly. The only drawback
was that I could not charge the purchase to my credit card, US or
Spanish, but had to wire the funds. "

"First of all it is great that living in France I can order
from Tool-net. The prices are competive and their range is far better
than what I can get in France, of course the exchange rate helps
too. However the shipping cost I found excessive (17£ for 3kilos!)
compared to other companies like Amazon.UK, Lands-End and even smaller
companies. Having mentioned this to the customer service people
they said they would look into it. Another useful thing would be
if you could see if an item is in stock or not. Then you can make
your on judgement if you want to pay more and go somewhere else
but get it quicker or wait and buy from Tool-net. My last advice
to Tool-net is, especially if they are dealing with customers on
the continent, to set up Pay-Pall. Since having written this review
their customer service team have informed me that they now have
cheaper delivery service i.e. Royal Mail (which we have found very
good for France). You can now pay by Pay-Pall and they are working
on ways to show their stock quantities. Great! it looks like we
are in business "
