Comfortable handling with VRS and soft grip

Working comfort is essential for tough professional use, and the 4960 meets that need in full with its ergonomically shaped handle and soft grip areas, both on the handle and on the tool body itself. Further increasing comfort, the VRS (Vibration Reduction System) reduces vibration levels to a minimum, thanks to the use of an active counterweight to balance out vibrations caused by the reciprocating action. The LED power on indicator clearly shows when the tool is ready for use, promoting safety in the working environment.

Fast, effective cutting action

Next to the powerful 1150 Watt motor and 29 mm stroke length, the 4960 also has a pendulum setting. This gives the saw blade an orbital action for even faster, more effective cutting, which is especially valuable for demolition work. The variable speed dial wheel allows speed to be preset from 800 – 2700 strokes/min., ensuring well controlled cutting to match the type of material. Cutting capacity is up to 180 mm in wood, 20 mm in steel and 30 mm in aluminium.

Quick, effortless saw blade change

Easy saw blade change is also an important part of productivity, and with the 4960 a new blade can be fitted quickly and effortlessly, with no need to use any tools. The old blade is simply released and a new blade clicked in place in seconds.
