Quick cuts in beams up to 135 x 70 mm

The 3100 is the ideal way to make quick cuts in materials up to 70 mm thick. Maximum cutting capacity at 90/90° (crosscut with vertical sawblade) is 135 x 70 mm (w x d). Capacity at 45/90° (45° miter with vertical sawblade) is 90 x 70 mm (w x d). Compound cuts can also be made at virtually any desired combinations of miter and bevel angles (0 - 45° in both modes). A laser guide is provided to give a precise visual indication of the line of cut relative to the workpiece.

Durable construction for tough professional use

The 3100 has the durable construction to maintain consistent accuracy and withstand tough professional conditions of use. The sawblade guard, sawing table and fence are made of sturdy aluminium. The sawblade is mounted on precision ball bearings, and the motor drive uses durable helical gears for reliable operation.

Ergonomic design for easy, precise handling

Ergonomic design and easy, precise handling are key benefits of the 3100 miter saw. The main handle and front control handle both have soft grip surfaces for secure, comfortable working, and the lightweight design makes it easy to carry the tool to the workplace. A built-in spindle lock allows quick, easy blade changing without the need for a separate wrench to secure the sawblade. A 40-tooth sawblade is supplied as standard, although special blades can be fitted for use with a range of different materials.
